Sampling for examination. Sampling for examination shall be conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-105, with an AQL of 1.0 (percent defective) and an inspection level of II. The unit of product for examination purposes shall be one treatment table as specified in this description.
Defects.
Table not the correct width, length, or height.
Table does not have a full length lower shelf or an upper smooth gliding, pull out drawer.
Table legs are not at least 2-1/4 inches in diameter or at least 2-1/4 inches square.
Metal hardware is not corrosion-resisting.
Table does not have a 2 inch thick, foam pad covered with fire-retardant, vinyl upholstery, sized to fit the entire table.
Table does not have a raised rim to prevent the pad from slipping.
Pad color is not the color ordered.
The foam pad has voids or objectionable odor.
Table finish is not smooth and uniform or free of scratches, splinters, and discoloration.
Table corners are not rounded or edges smooth.
Sampling for tests. Sampling for tests including dimensional test, shall be conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-105, with an AQL of 2.5 (percent defective) and inspection level of S-1. The unit of product for test purposes shall be one treatment table.
Tests
Load Test
The fully assembled treatment table shall be tested with a distributed load of 300 pounds on top. Failure to be free from wobble or distribution shall constitute a defect.
The fully assembled treatment table shall be tested with an empty load. Failure to be free from wobble or any unsteadiness shall constitute a defect.
