COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
TABLE, TREATMENT
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description.
This commercial item description covers a hardwood treatment table with foam pad and vinyl cover.
Salient characteristics:
The Treatment Table shall be of rigid hardwood construction with the following approximate dimensions:
Width – 30 inches (76.2 cm)
Length – 78 inches (198.1 cm)
Height – 32 inches (83.1 cm)
The table shall have four legs and each leg shall be a minimum of 2-1/4 inches in diameter or 2-1/4 inches square.
The table shall have a full length lower shelf (H-brace), a minimum of 3/4 inches thick, located approximately 7 inches off the floor. The table shall have an upper, smooth gliding, pull-out drawer. All metal hardware shall be corrosion-resisting.
The table shall be provided with a 2 inch (5.1 cm) foam pad covered with vinyl upholstery, sized to fit the entire table. The following upholstery colors shall be available:

The foam pad shall have no large voids or objectionable odor. The vinyl cover shall be fire retardant and meet the requirements of California Technical Bulletin #117. The table shall have a raised rim around the top edge to prevent the pad from slipping.
