STORAGE UNIT, PHARMACEUTICALS
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description.
This Commercial Item Description covers a free-standing, single-sided, pharmaceutical storage rack.
Salient characteristics:
The storage unit shall be free-standing and single-sided, suitable for the storage of pharmaceuticals with the following approximate dimensions:
Width: 36 inches (91.4 cm)
Height: 64 inches (162.6 cm)
The storage unit shall support a total of 54 high-density polyethylene bins on 10 evenly space horizontal rails. The bins shall have the following approximate dimensions:

Each bin shall have a molded slot on the front surface for an identification card.
The frame of the storage unit shall include a minimum of two diagonal braces and all necessary hardware for assemblage.
The storage unit shall be supported by two flanged, triangular floor mounts, each approximately 8 inches (20.3 cm) high and 12 inches (30.5 cm) from front to back with a 1-1/2 inch (3.8 cm) flange.
Regularly spaced holes in the two upright supports shall allow the storage unit to be secured to a wall.
