COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
SURGICAL PACK, DISPOSABLE
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description.
This Commercial Item Description covers a sterile, disposable surgical pack for use in creating a sterile field for extremities.
Salient characteristics:
The sterile, disposable, surgical drape pack shall consist of:
One (1) overwrap/table cover, approximately 50 by 90 inches.
One (1) Mayo stand cover.
Four (4) drape towels with adhesive tapes, approximately 17 by 26 inches.
One (1) suture bag.
One (1) plastic sheet, fan-folded, approximately 44 by 60 inches.
One (1) extremity sheet with a bactericidal absorbent reinforcement, approximately 87 by 128 inches with a 2.5 inch circular elastic fenestration and ESU cord/suction tubing holders.
The overwrap/table cover shall be reinforced with a polyethylene back. Shall be fan-folded for ease in opening on the surgical back table. The overwrap shall be impervious to fluids and moisture.
