SURGICAL PACK, DISPOSABLE
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description.
This Commercial Item Description covers a sterile, disposable, surgical drape pack for creating a sterile field for abdominal surgical procedures.
Salient Characteristics:
The pack shall be a sterile, disposable, surgical drape pack fabricated of nonwoven material for creating a sterile field specifically for abdominal surgical procedures. The pack shall consist of at least the following components:
* One overwrap/table cover, approximately 44 by 90 inches
* One Mayo stand cover with pad, approximately 23 by 55 inches
* One 8crub nurse gown with towel, overwrapped
* Two surgical gowns with towels
* Four utility drapes with tapes, approximately 14 by 26 inches
* One suture bag
* One laparotomy T-sheet with bactericidal fabric reinforcement, an instrument pad, adjustable adhesive fenestration, 3 feet by 12 inches, cord holders and armboard covers
The overwrap/table cover shall be fan-folded for ease in opening on the surgical back table. The cover shall be impervious to fluids and moisture.
