PITCHER, CLINICAL SOLUTIONS
(Aluminum)
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description as a replacement for Federal Specification RH-P-350B which is cancelled.
This Commercial Item Description covers a 3 quart aluminum clinical solutions pitcher.
Salient Characteristics:
The pitcher body shall be seamlessly formed of a single sheet of American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) type 3003 aluminum alloy. The aluminum sheet shall be 0.064 inch thick (14 gage) which shall not be reduced below 0.049 inch thick at any point in the finished pitcher. The pitchers shall be capable of being nested into each other without jamming, and shall have the following dimensions:
Height – 8-1/2 inches plus or minus 1/2 inch
Bottom Diameter - 5-3/8 inches plus or minus 1/2 inch
Top Diameter - 6-1/2 inches plus or minus 1/2 inch
The rim of the pitcher shall be formed with a spout, and the edge shall be rolled into a closed bead all around. The pitcher shall be polished, alkaline cleaned, and anodized.
