SURGICAL PACK, DISPOSABLE

The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description.
This Commercial Item Description covers a sterile, disposable universal surgical drape pack for use in creating a sterile field for any surgical procedure.
Salient Characteristics:
The surgical pack shall be a sterile, disposable universal surgical pack fabricated of a nonwoven material for creating a sterile field for any surgical procedure. The pack shall consist of at least the following components:
a. One overwrap/table cover 50 by 90 inches.
b. One Mayo stand cover with pad, 23 by 55 inches.
c. One scrub nurse gown with towels, overwrapped.
d. Two extra protection surgical gowns with towels.
e. One absorbent towel, 19 by 19 inches, plus or minus 1 inch.
f. Ten feet of nonconductive tubing.
g. One Yankauer suction tip.
h. One suture bag.
i. One bottom drape 72 by 70 inches, plus or minus 2 inches.
j. One top drape 100 by 57 inches, plus or minus 2 inches.
k. Two side drapes, 36 by 7 inches, plus or minus 2 inches.
The overwrap/table cover shall be fan-folded for ease in opening on the surgical room table. The overwrap shall be impervious to fluids and moisture.
